Elkhart, IN—June 11th, 2019 – Meet the Vincent Bach International Ltd 2019 UK Saxophone Bursary Award Winner… Arthana Tharmasekaran, pictured with British Jazz Saxophonist and Conn-Selmer artist Courtney Pine CBE!
Arthana was selected from a number of high calibre applicants aged between 11-16 years of age, who live and study in the London Borough of Harrow and are current students of the music education hub Harrow Music Service. Arthana was chosen due to her exceptional musical potential and commitment. The presentation was held at the Grade II, ‘Neo-Tudor’ listed Harrow Arts Centre on Saturday 13th April 2019.
Harrow Music Services are passionate about ensuring that every child in Harrow has the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, with performance opportunities and a clear route of progression available for all.
