Vincent Bach combined his unique talents as both an accomplished musician and a talented engineer to create brass instruments of unequalled tonal quality. Often copied but never duplicated, Bach instruments today remain the sound choice of students and artists worldwide. The Bach TR300H2 Bb trumpet was designed by the legendary craftsman specifically for student use. The combination of unique specifications and acoustic design promote quick development and meet the demanding needs of today's young players.
The Bach Stradivarius model 189 in Eb/D trumpet has a vivid yet broad tone well suited for symphonic and solo repertoire. The 4-13/16" long one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass #239 bell provides a lighter more vibrant sound while the reverse tuning #25R mouthpipe and .459" bore has an open feel. The 1st slide thumb saddle make for easy intonation adjustments while the Monel pistons provide smooth quick action. The silver-plate finish provides a controlled brilliance to the overall sound. The 189 has an extra set of slide for the key of D making it a very versatile instrument.
