Liu Bing

Graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and became a trombone teacher at Shenyang Conservatory of Music. In 2002, he was admitted to the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, Belgium. In 2003, he was admitted to the Lemmens Institute of Music in Belgium. After obtaining his master's degree in 2005, he continued to teach at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music. He currently serves in the following roles: Director of Brass Teaching and Research Office of Orchestra Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Dean of Brass Research Branch, Professor of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Art Director of Wind Department of Shenyang Symphony Orchestra,   Guest Professor of Royal Byng College in Canada and as a Judge of Asian International Trombone Competition.

During his studies abroad, he was invited by professional orchestras such as the Belgian Saint Michel Symphony Orchestra and the Flemish Youth Symphony Orchestra of Belgium to serve as guest principal trombone. In recent years, he held master class lectures and concerts in Xi'an Conservatory of Music, Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Central Conservatory of Music, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Harbin Conservatory of Music, Jilin Academy of Arts, Yunnan Academy of Arts and other colleges, and won the praise from other musicians. 

In 2015, he was invited to become an Education Consultant of Canada Eaglenest Education Group. In 2016, he was invited to be a guest professor at the Royal Byng College in Canada. Over the years, he has served as a Judge of international and domestic brass professional competitions for many times. He has mentored many students to win awards in brass solo and ensemble competitions. Many of his students have been admitted to world well-known music schools, including Music School of Ottawa University in Canada, Music School of University of Victoria in Canada, the Boston Conservatory in the United States and the University of the Arts in Berlin, Germany, etc.
