Ginger Turner recently retired from 27 years performing with The United States Army Field Band, "The Musical Ambassadors of the Army."
Her career has included playing principal trumpet, performing as a soloist, leading a brass quintet, and giving numerous master classes around the country. As an educator, Ms. Turner has extensive experience sitting on audition panels, and helping numerous students prepare for their future performances and careers. She is also the designer and coordinator of A Trumpeter's Resource DVD Instructional Video, and frequently presents seminars on "Building a Better Brass Section through the development of the Brass Quintet."
In addition, Ms. Turner serves on the International Women's Brass Conference (IWBC) board and continues to travel the country coaching students on team-building, leadership, and life skills that will foster their individual growth and development, Ns, Turner holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Trumpet Performance from Arizona State University where she studied with David Hickman.
